I sing the congratulating song! For K.D.! For a less disgruntled peony! For KristyEmber who makes it three! With trumpet blast and bagpipe skirl I play your path to what lies beyond. Re: Story in a Day Challenge

Anyone up for one of these? I've got a lot more free time coming up for at least a little while, and have found that this tends to produce interesting results. (I know this is usually Rebecca's baby, but I think it's bloody awesome and wonderful fun so I'm kicking it off this time. I might actually...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

Hello, I'm Alexis. I've been writing for a while now, one unpublished novel and quite a few short stories. I'm also a middle school science teacher and a classical musician (violin, viola, and now Medieval rebec). I've written a couple of non-fiction articles for Renaissance Magazine, and I've had ...

Congratulations on the recent successes, folks, especially jficke13. First sale is the best sale, and I'm looking forward to hearing the details!

I have a flash piece out today in T. Gene Davis's Speculative Blog: Anchor and Key. It's basically my love letter to libraries.
