It's a tough call to get.

Personally I didn't think I'd ever get another finalist. Then I did. Now I know I'll never get another one.
But I will. wotf011

I recommend what the classics have done. Universal translator, the TARDIS translates for us, etc. Mention it once then use English. Unless we aren't meant to understand each other. What always pings my brain is when a universal translator is in effect, then an alien swears, like when Klingons yell B...

I can return an under 10k swap after Aug 5th. wotf009 Congrats on getting through the 1st draft. Although two have already offered, I'd be more than willing to give it a lo...

I felt off-kilter writing-wise the past few months and missed it. Now I don't get to twitch with everyone this Q. I feel like I did something wrong. Working on Q4 now. Maybe you'll have one as well.

Adam Colston (V. 26) used to write and post opening after opening on the old Hatrack forum. We could only post 13 lines there, but he would get an idea, post it, and get feedback. We have the 450 thread here. Crank out some openings and get some feedback. Even if you don't finish the story. I've don...

Anyway Q2 was my first submission to any publisher ever. Received an Honorable Mention. In the meantime, sold a story (token pay...
