Re: New sign-ups?

This is Brad, writing as the general admin. I've made some more changes to the user database and the sign-up process. Please let me know if anyone hears of anyone having trouble getting onto the forum. I've also cleaned out all of the inactive and spam accounts from the past few years.

In LA they have bus benches and bus board that say "For Humans Only" and "aliens not allowed to sit on this bench or to ride on this bus". It 's kinda funny. I don't know if they have it in other places too.

That's great, David. It looks like you are "breaking in."

I hope you are still okay to submit to WOTF and if not you'll be an officially published author. Well done!

General Rules for the Forum

I have been asked to post some rules for this forum. The first thing I thought of are the rules everybody who registers agrees to which are these: "You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any ...

Yes, and we hope to see some or all of the people in this forum at one of the next WotF events. Several have certainly come very close with finalist and semi-finalist stories. Keep going!

Simon,

I am onto it. I'll come out shortly and yes, I have been very tied up on other projects. My apologies, really.

Thanks everybody for their input. From this I got an idea, that might work for this discussion. It goes back to what Laurie suggested on having a few main themes that are being discussed and what John said about having one MAIN thread. What, if we had 5 threads, of which one is the MAIN thread with ...

Thanks, guys. Maybe we can have one MAIN topic and then allow a maximum of 5 other topics (obviously that's just an arbitrary number) in order to keep it manageable. I'm about to announce it to all the WOTF newsletter subscribers as well, so I think we'll have a bigger crowd! Probably need to think ...

How to conduct this discussion with Kevin

I just have a question to you all. What do you prefer in terms of having an author here on the forum: 1. Just having one topic in a continuous stream of questions and answers, or 2.
