Well, mine is done. I will wait until Sunday afternoon to send it in just in case something crystallizes during the night I remember a certain line was actually taken from a TV-movie etc or ??

Anyone up for the 19th through 24th?

I used to run my stories through Critters but that never worked for me, even after three times so I quit sending in stories but I still like to crit stories so I do.

Subbed, for the first time in a year. Not with the awesome story I got stuck writing halfway through, or the less awesome story I got incredible feedback that I can't execute on yet, but with something I've had and thought I couldn't use because [reasons]. Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 34

Sigh. More work. Two people critted it and there were some contradictions. Without going into details one found a few things wrong and the other found many things wrong with the writing-to the point a rewrite might be best to fix it. One wanted a short action scene completely done away with and the ...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 34

Yesterday I cut 500 words from my story. I'm a putter-inner, not a taker-outer. Feels strange, like, where did the words go? I try to be a cutter, but every time I try to edit this story it gets longer. I'm up to about 5k now, although I need to rewrite my entire first scene so that may change dras...

Another idea to add to the dress and song and magic is that it seems to be about Elsa. Anna might be the main character but the story isn't about her. Elsa is the one who needs help and saving.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 34

I'm finding it so hard to write this quarter! I've been experimenting with short short stories (usually mine are 10,000 plus words) and fantasy this quarter, which I've never tried before. Consequently, I've had two stories get ripped apart on Critters. So...yeah, not feeling great about my writing...

Hmm, amazingly enough I think I just finished my story. I wasn't sure how to end it, I still had three ways to go, and I needed the very end. But I decided to look at the story not just think about it. I added a few sentences and, whoa, maybe what is the perfect ending. I typed sixty-five words at m...

Still shorter than my usual but I no longer am concerned with it being too short for David.

I have three try-fail cycles which I think I may work on a bit more, I think I have figured out how my character will change. I was a bit concerned about that.
