Don't have anything to exchange right now, but would love to give it a read, if you would like. Your description has me intrigued! :-)

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!
Not technically a new user but I've been gone so long I feel like I need to introduce myself again. I was able to secure 2 HMs way back in Volume 29, but then between my job and being an adult college student found I had no time or creative energy to do much writing anymore. Now I've graduated and h...

I just got one from him as well and it wasn't the same wording. He actually gave me a lot of good feedback and suggestions on what I could do.

So I do...and I get sent right back to the submission page, and all that time fixing it up was for nothing. Never again am I go...

I'm with you. To me, more Star Wars is a good thing!

What's pissing you off? Is he pointing out issues in the stories? Or is he not pointing out anything and just saying "It's fine"? Or is it just the way he does it?

Happens to me, too. I've found that if I save my word doc as a .txt file before I copy and paste, it generally preserves a more readable format (but I still have to make tweaks by hand). I ran into the same problem and did the same thing. Doesn't get it exactly, but it's closer than .doc formatting.

But this is a speculative fiction forum! Trolls should be as common as dragons, zombies, aliens, and robots around here. (And at least as hungry as Gators!)
They'll eat your goats.
Trolls or gators?

The cut out on the ship image seems pretty jarring to me. Try making it a more gradual fade to ease the transition.

I think Sheila Williams has said that she would rather have nothing on the query letter and just let the...
