So far no rejection, but still polishing the 4K gold-plated "R" to place on my mantel, as well as exhaling a sigh of relief. But, today is Wednesday, a new day, and could possibly be the day my R takes its place of honor. Time will tell. I pray not one of you get an R, and that at least fi...

Yeah, I thought about that. Add that to all the other novels going on i my head.

Back to legality, I wonder if using the same characters in different stories for two quarter entries is okay.
Can anyone field this question?

Re: Discussion: Q3 Volume 36

Not quite there yet with my own Q3, Dustin. In fact, I started a whole new beginning on it and its turning out to be two entirely different stories with the same characters. Pt.1 and Pt.2? My story the sequel? Q3 and Q4? Is that legal, or would I get disqualified for doing that? Going a bit crazy he...

Re: Discussion: Q1 Volume 36

My phone shattered. It's alive, it rings, it dings, but I can't access any of it. I will admit, I keep giving my computer the side-eye and then plunging into the forums and Facebook for clues. But it just takes longer to log on and check in...obviously I'm back again. Again. AGAIN. Checking to see ...

Whew! Fears unfounded. Back to work.
One ear on the phone, the other on email notification dings.
One eye on the keyboard, the other looking for email notification icons.
Both hands nervously touching the keys.

I think I'm good.

Re: Discussion: Q1 Volume 36

Sheesh! For a Thursday there don't seem to be many posts going up here. I thought I would at least hear of some other forumites going nuts waiting from their report on the Q1 subs.
Dead quiet.
So, I must be the only one of us that didn't get a phone call with a gag order.
I need a hug.

Forgot to post this: Received an email from Galaxy Press yesterday. My stomach dropped to the ocean bottom seeing the sender in the notification. Just re-read my Q1 entry for the first time in a while. I like it - but my record suggest that means I'm shinning my 'R as well. (Once I've worked out what shinning is. Well, I could say it is the Simpsons' episode take on Stephen King's "The Shining", but that would be a lie. Truth is I ...

So, relax. Have a cup of coffee or tea or whatever. Tickle your keyboards with wild imagination. Start shivering again next Thursday and Friday.
