Re: Jibber Jabber - Q4 - Volume 33

Don't think I'm going to have anything ready this Quarter. Shooting for next at this point. J'nae Me either. My current story has potential but all the feedback makes it clear it needs more work and which I agree with. Much as I hate missing a quarter, hate sending out something not ready for prime...

Re: Brandon Sanderson - 318R

Thanks! Brandon Mull was at When Words Collide in Calgary a couple of years ago. He was full of energy and very entertaining to listen to. It's a great series of lectures. The quality of the recordings has increased each year and Sanderson has become much more comfortable - and organized - with the ...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 33

I have to confess to being a longtime lurker on the forum. I gleaned a lot of helpful tips that helped with the 1st place win. My first WotF entry was straight R. I got a silver after that and thought I was hot stuff. This all started seven years ago. I ended up with 3 R's, 8 HM's, 2 SHM's, 1 semi,...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 33

Has anyone who subbed to Joni personally, i.e. not through the system because it closed early - received an e-mail from her telling them of their fate? I fear a R, but hope for an HM. So I'm hanging out in NNiNN at the moment, but am ready to query to put this quarter to rest. Nothing here Ditto.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 33

Agreed. The understandable confusion that is arising is due to no official announcement of all the finalists being contacted. Everything I am seeing is conjecture.

I guess once we start hearing about Q3 results is when we'll know for sure they have moved on. wotf011

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 33

Except that this is not the same thing. The system is not down, and there have been cases in the past when stories have been lost. It is. The process, like the system coming back up, is not complete. When it is and something is amiss, that is when I would ask questions. Joni and the WOTF Team will ...

I always felt like saying the sooner you stop calling the sooner I can get the system back ...
