Re: Jibber Jabber - Q4 - Volume 33

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q4 - Volume 33

Your friendly neighborhood forum stalker is now back after lurking in the shadows for over a year. And yes, it is because I do have a horse in this race ... a reworked HM, that I'm hoping will move toward the light instead of falling into the abyss. For Imagination Vortex's list, my entry was at the...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q4 - Volume 32

I have this theory about twitching. It is actually a rare contagious subtype of Tourette's syndrome. So "twitch"...#$!@ wotf001

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 33

Thanks Stewart! That is basically the answer that I expected. I do plan on resubmitting, just hated the thought of getting anything less than an HM. wotf017

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 33

This is a question directed at those forumites who are statistically inclined. I have just completed my rewrite of my 3rd quarter HM story with every intension of submitting it elsewhere, when I thought "Why, not resubmit it to the contest?". At this stage I think I can assume that Dave at...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 32

Hell, I hit double digits a long time ago. That's part of the reason why I don't enter every quarter. A guy can only take so much, although the HM does provide a bit of an incentive.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 32

Congrats, Bob (I think)! Does this mean that since you weren't burned quite so bad this time that you're going to continue to feed the fire?

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 32

I purchased my first and only D&D (yes the one in the red box!) game in 1978 when my son was 2 years old and had to put it away for 5 years because I couldn't find anyone to play with until he was old enough to read and understand the rules. We enjoyed the game for several years after that, but ...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 32

I have a confession to make. One of the big reasons why I submit to WOTF is because of DF, but not for the reason you might think. When I first got interested in the contest (A very long time ago), one of the only judges that I was not familiar with was David Wolverton. Enamored by his story of winn...
