Well, I wasn't going to enter this Q. But I got a rejection for a story today that might work well for WotF, so I just submitted it.

Apparently I'm in for the madness. wotf024

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 34

Look, it is a documented fact that unicorns only browse in gardens, where they consume roses, tulips and lilies. All we have to do is go out into our gardens and check. If there are teeth marks on the roses, tulips or lilies, that proves unicorns are there, but hiding. On the other hand if there ar...

Re: Five Minute Rant

Okay, I've been telling myself that I shouldn't complain too much about this because I've waited longer for a reply before, but it is driving me NUTS! I have had my SHM story at Asimov's for 115 days now, and not a peep! Not even a change on the submission portal! Their guidelines says they mostly r...

Well, I think I'm going to be backing out for this Q. I've never skipped one before in the two years I've been entering...wow... It's not that I don't have a story. Well, I'm damn tired of getting R's (the HM and SHM were for the same story, revised). I know I can write. So, it's time to write a story that'll knock their socks off. Sitting down to write right now. This one will do it. wotf024

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 34

I have a story I'm working on for an anthology deadline on the 15th, then I can start on this Q story. I have to decide between two stories to write, and then of course there's actually trying to write them the way they're worth...if that makes sense???

Re: Five Minute Rant

I decided it was time to go back to the drawing board. The writing that made up my story turned out to be almost a mess. So I redid the opening. Started the story later and it's more condensed. Or so I hope. The next section may stay pretty much the same. I won't say what it involves since I may se...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 34

No, but seriously, I think I already know exactly what I'm going to do. I have a story I wrote a few months ago that I sent to a professional anthogy and got a rejection. But I think it will be great for WotF with a bit of tweaking. I need the try/fail cycles to be a bit more fleshed out, but other ...
