Re: Why do you submit? (all markets)

I submit because I'm a writer working to be a published author. Pure and simple. This is it in a nutshell. I submit, because it is an essential part of becoming a professional author. Also this... There is a special kind of rush that you get when you take that leap of faith and submit. Its a bit te...

Participating in the forums has brought me closer to the fearless writing warrior I want to be. I am quicker to start and finish a piece with the quarterly threads giving a defined time frame and a built-in cheer squad. Plus, having a shared goal with my fellow forumites makes the waiting process of...

I too am out, but will be buoyed in spirit by a semi-finalist this time around. That's my best ever in a collection of many many R's so I will take it and run. No twitching for me. With 2 cracks in my left clavicle – twitching hurts. (Chocolate Decadence urgently needed here.) I should say so! Chocolate Decadence ASAP for the injured man. I'm not twitching. Re: Quick Crits: Q2 V.37 (March 31, 2020)

Would anyone be up for critiquing a 1600 word piece for Q2?

I know that is a super quick turn around. So, no worries if it is not doable. I also know such a super short story stands little chance of placing, but--well--I want to give it a go anyway.
