Making a submission this quarter is not going to happen. My recovery from knee surgery has progressed well but it's impact on my sleep has been substantial. Re: 4 in 36

This year is feeling awesome to me, I've worked more, read more, and written more in the last six months than I have in a great while. I feel like either this year will end up being tremendous, or I'll end up keeling over from the effort of it -- but I don't think I'll regret it, no matter how it p...

I just explained this to my husband. So, I'll give it a shot. Correct me if I'm off fellow WorF-ers. Rejectomancy is a term earlier formites coined to stand for all the guessing and second guessing and third guess we all do collectively about WHY a story was rejected. Re: Discussion: Q2, Volume 36

I switched as well, but earlier on. I outlined the first story, but it just didn't have any Umph. So, I took some things I liked out of it and added them to an old idea that I always meant to write but was missing parts. Hopefully the spare parts from story 1 will complete story 2. But I am so fond ...

Re: Discussion: Q1 Volume 36

R&R usually means Revise and Resubmit. Yes, an agent requested a full and gave me a glowing Rejection, but asked me to 'Revise & Resubmit' after 6 months. I had the request for nearly a year before I found out people in the know (obviously not me) referred to it as an R&R. It's a great ...
