However... Flame Tree have a habit of sending acceptances first, rejections after (you can see the pattern on the recent responses on the Grinder). Flash Story by WotF Vol 33 winner Ville Meriläinen up at Empyreome
This isn't about an interview, but I figured it would be the best place to post it. A new flash story by WotF vol. 33 winner Ville Meriläinen is now up at Empyreome Magazine (my publication). For those who are interested, you can read the story here: http://empyreome.com/read.aspx?id=36 . Do you hav...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!
Hi everyone, another newbie here - first sub was Q4 2016, which I just found out made finalist! *faints* I'm pretty certain this was just beginner's luck though since after poking around on this site I found out that flash pieces are a tough sell, and my story was only 1,000 words. Still, feeling t...

This site is still shunting me off to the page that says I have made too many attempts to sign in and need to answer a question. We are talking once in three days or so. I find that it does that any time I log in on an incognito window. Most likely requires cookies, and incognito-mode won't store c...

How *NOT* to Handle Rejection
Some of you know that a few friends and I started a little magazine ( http://empyreome.com ) recently. Things have been great, but our site has already been attacked numerous times. About a month ago, someone broke in and injected malicious code into some pages. I was able to detect the attack early...

I also appreciate their free service. Having run several online services in my long history of various activities, this is a bit of a mess, though. Not being critical. Just observing. We've all (at least I have) failed to backup critical data numerous times.

Re: Empyreome Magazine
Thanks for the update. wotf007 I may well have some stories to submit to you by December. I've only got three finished at the moment, one's awaiting a verdict here, one I *should* hear back on by the 15th, and one is probably going to be in limbo for ages. Thanks, Peony. We'll look forward to them....
