Just in time to watch the ball drop and drink champagne. I'm in, also barely under the wire, and also with a last minute, ditch effort, three-day story (Yikes!) I blame you Wulf for making me enter, and with a new story. Which I might still be grumpy about... wotf001 Good luck all, and Happy New Yea...

Re: Discussion: Q4 Volume 35

I'm in. One of those quarters. Wrote a fresh story in two days. Did revisions in the final hour, raced like a madman through the submission questions, pushed submit at Wizehive at 11:56 PM. I know, I know, I could have used those last couple of minutes to put some sonnets in the story or design ano...

Submitted today for Quarter 4. I'm pretty sure this is the earliest I have ever submitted a story - a whole TWO days before the deadline, haha!

Good luck all, see you on the flip side wotf024

Re: Discussion: Q3 Volume 35

Nothing like getting your Q3 story in on the last day because you finished writing (and hopefully editing it as best as possible) about three minutes before you submitted it. This is NOT how I like doing things, people, but it is done...!

Best of luck to everyone! wotf008

Hey Wulf, Thanks for the congrats. And yes, you're right, I am Topanga Canyon. 1 down, 3 to go... Quarter 2's rough draft is done, just needs some reworking. Quarter 3's mostly written, just needs an ending -- pesky endings. And Quarter 4's notes are done, and the outline has been written. I plan to have all three done by the end of March, then my time will be freed up for nov...

So - I've never had anything published and consider myself a relative newbie to this whole writing life. I'm working on a short story for Q2 - it's a pretty awesome concept - not even sure yet if I have the chops to pull it off - but I'm trying - and it's starting to seem like maybe there's actuall...
