Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - Volume 35

Mega Congrats Preston.

& wow, they're having issues with this quarter. A DQ & a withdrawal must have caused some headaches.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q3 - Volume 34

Your story has been judged and did not place in the 3rd quarter

which is a bummer.

It's probably my favorite story submitted this year.

hmm

I'll go have a look at that.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q4 - Volume 34

Turns out I do have a story to submit. It's 70's style SF without a happyhappyjoyjoy ending, but it rings true for me. So, in as of today.

Finalist Q1
SHM Q2
not a bad year. Though I think I may be out of Q4 already. No story ready to send, and a novel to be finished by December

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 34

I've never received a rejection. Only contact post story has been a confirmation of receipt, and to ask if I'd like a certificate for my first HM How do people on here know to update their status to rejected then? Just based on inference because other people were informed of HM or SHM etc? While ve...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

Welcome, Clive! I'm in the UK too. Do our newer members all know about the Submission Grinder ( https://thegrinder.diabolicalplots.com )? You can record your submissions to various mags (anonymously) and track how long it takes to get a response against the average in the database. WotF has its own...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

Hi, I'm Clive. I live in Cornwall, England, and have subbed 7 or 8 times over the past 3 years or so. I've got a couple of HM, but nothing further so far. To be honest, I've joined the forums to see if results for a quarter appear any swifter than on the blog.
