Re: Quarter 1 Writers and illustrators of the Future Vol 35

Rejection for me. I found several errors and just hoped they wouldn't see them... Lol... So I'm going to submit my super-tweaked version.

Good luck to those still waiting.

Re: Discussion: Q3 Volume 35

Oh yes, it was rare for me, first time it happened. Developing an anchor and getting ideas built up did that. And I got splashes on my computer to prove it. ;)

Congrats on writing each morning!

You may have a perfect storm some time too.

Re: Discussion: Q3 Volume 35

At a workshop, Dave and his son (cannot remember his name) discussed creating anchors. I picked up swimming in January and of course -didn't have my phone. So, my mind wandered all on its own... Then I started anticipating it and thinking intentionally of scenes I wanted to figure out or questions i...

Re: Contest Questions

Question asked from newbie Jason on the intro thread I'm also wondering...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

My name is Jason. I submitted my first entry to WotF for the first quarter of 2018 and am eagerly awaiting to see if it makes any headway. Question for the veterans here: how do they let you know that you got any of the awards? Do they call? Email? Do they send it back with critique? Or do they sim...

Re: NEW USERS! INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!

Thank you all...yes, I discovered I CANNOT write at home... So, I email myself ideas I do not want to forget. I also wrote the prequel on a 3-day solo getaway. I went out and got 2,400 words out in two hours on Monday because I told my husband I NEEDED to get these ideas from my mind typed up! I dev...

Real name is Amy... I have six kids and basically went 15 years without writing, even though it was a passion middle school and high school. There was a short story I had written in high school, my teacher said I needed to get it published. It sat in a pile of nothing and became lost. I couldn't fin...
