Guthington, so sorry to hear. My thoughts are with you!!

Good luck to everyone that has submitted for Q3 or plans to! I'm sitting this one out to give myself more time to finish and polish my story.

But if anyone is looking for some last minute crits, let me know. I'm game.

I am excited to share that DisgruntledPeony and I co-wrote a story that has been selected for publication in the Hold Your Fire anthology from WordFire Press! Proceeds from the anthology go to fund the scholarship we received. It’s a shiny ToC as well- at least one other forumite is with us but I’l...

Plus entries in two Flash comps in Scrib. Awesome! How did those go? This quarter has been slow going for me. With the kids jumping around and needint to be homeschooled (only another week left, yay!!!) while I work from home, I've finished my work days exhausted. I'm sure many of you understand th...

Re: Discussion: Q3 Volume 37

Like Pumpkin said--don't sweat it if you're moving at a different pace. Try not to stress if things don't go according to plan; for me, at least, this year seems to defy all attempts at planning. Just do what you can, and know that simply finding time to put in the effort right now is a win. wotf00...

Do you mean this quarter you won't have anything or last quarter? And you wrote two stories simultaneously? Nice job

My first draft is not even yet a first draft -- it's still only about two thirds complete, and even that two thirds is peppered through with my common marking: [...], highlighted yellow, which means "something goes here, but I either don't know what, or haven't figured out quite how to write i...

I have permission to announce! wotf059 wotf059 I got third place. Joni called me Monday and I’m still glowing. It feels so darn good to finally get the win. This piece was an HM a year ago. I'm super excited to be in Q2. Just want to reiterate that in Q3. So I'm working away on my Q3 so I can be IN here, too! I'll probably send a PM or two in the next week. Way to go!
