Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29
I'm a physicist. Which has certain advantages when writing hard SF. In the old days, Newton, Faraday, etc., one tended to be just a physicist -- not so much specialists. Today, while one can be widely read, it is damned difficult to know everything. Second thought. Even in hard SF, you can usually s...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29

What I want you to do is to respond to this e-mail with your manuscript attached. In the text of the e-mail message inclu...

Re: Quarter 4, vol. 29
Swing and a miss. And I'd gotten such good reactions from my first readers on this one.
Rejected 8
No Call 1 (USPS lost a whole bin of entries)
Finalist 3 (1 published in WOTF XXIV, 2 in one year)
Semi 2
SILVER H-M 1
Quarter 10
H-M 17 (Quarter+H-M = 27)
Total 42
Aw well, onward.

Re: NOTE: This is how you format your Contest entry!
Dark Courier was invented so that later HP LaserJets could have the original thick lined Courier font of the very first original HP LaserJet. I learned about Dark Courier at the 2004 Clarion workshop and used it for quite a while, but eventually gave up. It produces good dark print on my HP LaserJet...
