I love stories like that. It reminds us that a rejection doesn't necessarily mean it's bad writing.

Re: Success!
December was amazing. I received a HM in WotF (went down to the wire with that one), sold four stories and had two reprints. (and I have two more currently on hold) Holland: 1944, my V30Q3 rejection which then sold to Galaxy's Edge (without changing a word) was reprinted in 'The Best of Galaxy's Edg...

Perhaps Duotrope now has a higher percentage of (not sure how to phrase this lol)...

Re: Success!
Really pleased my latest publication was mentioned here: http://www.antisf.com.au/flashview/1478-flashviews-197 Standout stories I've read in the past couple of months or so that have impressed themselves on me for one reason or another. Novel: The Back of The Back of Beyond by Edwina Harvey Short S...

Getting Ahead.
A long post this one, and certainly NOT a criticism of the contest and its judges. ____________________________________________________________________ I’ve done well with my writing over the past 5 years. I’ve made twenty sales, most at Semi-pro to Pro markets. I’ve been nominated for five awards. ...

Thomas, this is a fantastic sale. Well done, and Congrats!
I think I've kept up with everyone else. Apart from the Quarter threads, this is one of the few I visit - because I find it inspiring, and I love sharing in the success of (forum) friends.
