Gwendolyn Clare seems to have been too modest to mention it here, but her story Iron Oxide Red is now available to non-subscribers at Daily Science Fiction. It is a wonderful piece, as I discuss at greater length at the Fantastic Reviews Blog.

Just sold a story to Arcane magazine, a new semiprozine. I submitted there because the story has a bit of a Lovecraftian feel, which seems to fit their guidelines. What I didn't realize when I submitted is that the editor was previously editor of Arkham Tales and rejected the same story last year. T...

My short story "Losing Your Grip" is just up at Linger Fiction. This is my third sale, but second publication, since WOTF27 isn't out yet. And no, this story is nothing at all like my WOTF story.
