Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29

Martin, Sylvania, eh? Really close to where I'm at. Yeah, 75 feet from the border is a lot like my friend's old place. I honestly think a good athlete (not me) could've thrown a ball from the roof of their house and landed it in Michigan. He worked in Ann Arbor, and his wife worked in Bowling Green...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29

You wanna know something? This is the first quarter I've actualy been really jealous of the finalists - almost annoyed at myself. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled for those of you who have made finalist, but I'm really annoyed I'm not on that list. Which, in a way, is really silly as I knew months ...

Critique Request: 4100 words

I recently went though and heavily revised one of my stories (took out 2 characters and streamlined the story a bit). I would like a critique on it before I put it out in submission to see if the story is without obvious flaws.

Please PM me with your requests.

Tina and Martin are MIA right around the time the rumors of finalists are floating about. And no one has seen Annie in a while...

At least they got back with me before 90 days was up (their standard query time). And I didn't have to query to find out it was lost.

Agreed. He could have kept some of it, but I would have made it to the point where a lot of the gore and that happened off-screen. Sometimes, that's even creepier.
