Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29

I responded to you, disgruntledpeony, instead of storysinger, hence the comment about flowers wilting when tired. Then I realized my mistake, tried to clarify with more confusion, and here we are! Hobbits and biscuits and tea! I'm in!! wotf010 wotf035

God help us all, Stewart & I have written another Baker & Dovey tale for this. In a week. 5k words. This one has rat-people and a dog-kingdom and snakes all fighting underground. It is, if anything, even sillier. Fingers crossed for you both! Your finger-crossing must have cancelled out our...

Thanks! I'll query.

Hm... maybe I never received a Hold request because I notified them it was a simultaneous submission?

At any rate, I've queried and will surely be receiving my rejection any day now. wotf007

New Myths

Anyone else waiting on New Myths? I submitted a story about 100 days ago. New Myths has set reading periods, and for each reading period they select stories for two separate publication issues. My story wasn't selected for the first issue back in March, and wasn't rejected, either. Now some acceptan...

Re: Unidentified Funny Objects 5

They have a one submission per session rule unless they over-rule it themselves. The second one didn't receive that. Actually I must start looking for this rule elsewhere. I thought I must be doing really well with my second submission to Aliterate in the current window until I realised you were on...

Re: Apex is back. New queue management scheme?

I don't know. I go back and forth. I think it's eaiser to submit and forget (when I accidentally do this), but my desire to study and understand and speculate rarely lets me. I feel like I'm hiding an embarrassing addiction. True, but sometimes knowing how the submission process works can help you ...
