I'm not twitching. Why would I be twitching? I'm--I'm not-- wotf039 LOL... OMG! CORBIN!!! wotf015

I shall hence forth cease all whining. Well, until I give up and whine again, because I have never been a Marine nor am I made of the steel you are. But I can write, and I shall. And good luck to you my friend.

I'd love to do it someday, if I'm ever not working on a book and/or raising tiny people. wotf001 Exactly this, although I have to admit my tiny people aren't quite as tiny any more, but they still require tons of attention of one kind or other. But Dean's contest sounds soooo tempting. I just have ...

I’d say the more messed up you are the better writer you’ll become. But that’s just a theory. Corbin, after riding a Ford on its side at 70mph on the highway with your face inches away from the road and the challenge of recovering from brain damage, I think you have had your share of misfortune and...

I wish you continued health and spare writing time.

Got an idea last night. Wrote a 1100w first draft this morning. Needs editing down. A flash is not a strong contender for winning WotF, but it is a fresh story and better than no substitution.

Thanks for the encouragement guys...and of course, Trevor.

They had invented a new game. That right there is where you put in the bad thing the children are doing, the thing that might keep some people up night. Sometimes when you're feeling like seven different kinds of shit and don't feel like writing but know some writing has to get done, just tell yourself to sit down and write at least one good paragraph. If you're worried about grammar, I would personally recommend checking out Dreyer's English. It's written by the chief copy editor of Random House, and it's both educational and entertaining (at least, it was to me personally). If you don't want to buy it, you can probably find it at your local lib...
