Hi there! Longtime lurker, excited to finally be able to register! I'm currently on a Silver Honorable Mention streak with four in a row, and two HM's before that. I also just recently made my first pro sale to Beneath Ceaseless Skies, which should be coming out in early fall this year. I'm still i...

Re: Avatar Trouble

I hate to resurrect such a long-dead thread, but I can't seem to get the avatar system working. I've tried linking to pictures from Twitter, Imgur, and Photobucket. None have worked, even when I enter the dimensions in the appropriate boxes. Is anyone else having this trouble post-update? Thanks! I...

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q2 - Volume 34

Unless the story I sent to Flametree comes back in time, I may have a hard time making it in this quarter. I'd been procrastinating on editing, and then yesterday I ended up making a trip to the emergency room because of pain in my stomach and back (among other things). Long story short, I'm alright...

I'm tempted to try and whip my Story in a Day into a proper WotF submission.

I've got two weeks.

Been a while since I popped into this thread. I'm planning a Story in a Day for some time this week. Anybody want to join in? Pick a day some time this week--write a story. It's looking like I'm only going to get two stories in--maybe three, if I send out a pre-existing piece. The problem is, I strongly suspect said piece needs work... however, I think I just figured out a way to make it better, so we'll see how that goes.

This looks interesting.

I have no stories written that qualify for any of these categories.

That gives me one month to write four 2,000 word short stories.

...

What the hell, I'm in! wotf024 It'll be a good experiment, at any rate.
