Welcome to the light! Well, sort of light. It's more like light with dark tendencies. Kinda like Luke after he went to the dark side and came back.

I would argue book purchases are tax deductible as business expenses for a writer as they may count as "research." However, I am not an accountant.

Wow, finally I come back here and find all types of plans. The Facebook thing sounds like Google+ they have ways to meet too. I came back because I wouldn't mind whining about not being able to go. Never get to go to any cons, used to be a small one here but it faded years ago. The closest one is t...

I think this is the tread where we all complained about some markets taking longer than usual. I haven't heard from Asimov' since June. I even checked my E-mail's trashed file, in case I received the rejection and forgot. Nothing in there from them. Most have gotten lost somewhere along the way. Yo...

I only have video capabilities on my netbook and phone. We don't have to do video. If I knew how to set up a team speak server and had a headset capable, I would do that.

Okay, created the even on Facebook and sent invites. I set it to where only guests can invite people and it's only visible to invitees so if there's anyone else that wants to have a pity party, we can invite them.

Some of us on Facebook were talking about doing a NotAtWorldCon Facebook chat this weekend. Any takers? One third of my friend's feed is WorldCon. Another third is DragonCon. And pretty much the rest of it is people oblivious to either con or insanely jealous. What I'm really mad about is about half...
