Daily Science Fiction loves flash pieces. And yes, they do take fantasy as well. You can also try Fantasy magazine and Clarkesworld.

Analog has a section for flash pieces. Ask Alastair Mayer if he ever deigns to drop by again. His first couple of sales were short pieces to Analog. F&SF does take flash. Don't forget to research your markets:

I'm writing a novel right now. I'm not writing for the contest or any other short story. But here in a few days, the novel will be done and I'll need another short story. I much prefer novels.

I would point out to those who have not already done it, updating and using your author page on Amazon is hugely beneficial. I updated mine and saw a big jump in downloads and even a few more sales than usual.

Plus I've found even if you do work really hard to get the science and numbers right, there will still be readers who think you are wrong. I choose not to worry about and just do the mathy bits and science that I need for the story, knowing that someone out there will think I'm wrong. wotf008 There...

Yes, this BA English graduate also gave a big sigh of relief. I keep feeling like I shot myself in the foot by pursuing English and Dance instead of other languages or history.
