Re: Analog Submissions

Fair enough. And their ultra long slush is the reason I stopped subbing there. I agree the response time is unprofessional - particularly when they don't allow simultaneous subs and so on. And you should have received a rejection email. I simply made the conscious decision never to respond to editor...

Re: Analog Submissions

This story was the first thing I ever subbed. ... The most disheartening thing is the dishonesty in the query responses. Why did they tell me they were "still considering" my story - when the patent truth was the story was dead in the water long ago. I was annoyed with the rejection for m...

Issue 7 of Galaxy's Edge goes live in a few hours. I'm still amazed and awed to be sharing a TOC with Martin and Brad, not to mention several of my absolute heroes in C.J. Cherryh, Robert Sheckley and L. Sprague de Camp, as well as the other amazing names on the cover. It's free on the website, or y...

All sales are good, but some are better than others. I'm thrilled to announce that I've sold a story to award winning publisher Keith Stevenson at Dimension6, due for publication in October (Issue 3). Oh, and this story was my V30Q4 reject. Another DF refugee that has sold well. :) This means I join...

Yes, pretty excited - and proof that an 'R' can be of quality. And that there's a large element of taste in the judging.

I'm kind of a little bit excited right now. I just made my first Pro Level sale. Mike Resnick bought one of my stories for Galaxy's Edge.
