Gwen gives good advice about using a book reviewer (or not using one as she states). Another caveat to consider is that you can send your submission package directly to the editor. Ignore all "submission guidelines" that say you have to have an agent, because that's just corporate speak an...

Having gone to a workshop in Oregon with Kris and Dean, I would highly recommend it as well. The energy, the learning and the people were fantastic. I loved it so much I'm headed back up at the end of Feb for the novel workshop again and the Denise Little workshop. As a bonus, the area is beautiful....

When I tried it and had a problem, I did it from home. I have no firewall that would block it like I do at work. So I'm not sure that's it. Plus I had submitted just fine in Q4 and Q1. I haven't tried it recently so maybe they've put the Webhive system back up and that's when you tried it.
