I like the way you think. Is this Evil Venvariants saying this or Nice Venvariants? I like the idea that this is Nice Venvarieants talking and nobody will ever want to see your evil side. The most evil of us all.
And congrats on getting us to page 70 on the longest thread on the board ever.

Why, no. No, I do not see a prohibition on assaulting a fellow member with sugar-based projectiles within the first 90 days of membership. Are you quite certain there is one? I can't imagine what the Board of Directors was thinking.

Nice ven. Nice ven. Evil ven is only let loose on the page, naturally. If the marshmallows are shot through a fire before reaching the target...are they good an burnt? Might work well during a campfire. The recipient (or victim, if you will...) could try and catch them between two graham crackers...

Just don't attempt to self-feed with the launcher or the marshmallows can get lodged in the throat. Not a pretty sight. *hums innocently*

In TOC, Evil Kirk was distinguished from Kirk with eye-liner, rather than a goatee. So, Riker could be distinguished with eye liner as well. And Stewart too. What color eye-liner suits donkeys?

Yes. The best time to unleash evil, of course. And then you also go and come up with the best use of the marshmallow shooter...I'm so incredibly happy you've decided to become a WOTF forum member. I'd use a smilie here, but I'm one of the anti-smilie crowd (but keep that bit of info under wraps I kinda like that Martin takes the brunt of the jokes on that one).

Oh Jeanette, how you made me smile with that visual.
OK, almost my writing time. Want to finish Q3, but as usual when I get this close to the middle I start writing flash. There is something psychological to analyze about this behavior. I have the can't-put-my-finger-on-it feeling.
ETA: Just went back to find out who started this monster of a thread, so I could give them a hard time. And surprise it was ME! New plan, NEVER let me start a quarter thread again.

Funny thing is I seen a "Mirror Universe" book in the store today. I had to laugh a bit.
Evil Mike: A universe with mirrors? So is our...
Me: Look, you're not doing this again.
Evil Mike: What? It's so much fun.
Me: If it weren't for you getting me past that little writer's block bit in Chapter 2 and second interlude, I'd kick you to the curb.
Evil Mike: But, how can you kick something in your mind? Wouldn't that hurt?
Me: You just don't get it, do you?
Evil Mike: Hello, imaginary. Can't get anything you need. Not really in the physical plane of existance.
Me: My God, why did I -- hey, I have an idea. Evil Mike, there's a squirrel over there.
Evil Mike: Really?!
Me: He's too easily entertained. That'll last about 2 hours thanks to the AD...he is so cool...DAMMIT!

Congratulations everyone!!!
Wow, this was an outcome I did not see comming at the start of Q1. Who would have guessed the results?
I have been suprised by who has hung in here longer than others to be a part of the outcome. The results are spectacular. What an achievment. Well done.
On reaching the 70th page of course, what were you thinking of?

Thank you, Martin, for getting "June Is Bustin' Out All Over" by Rodgers & Hammerstein (with modified lyrics, of course) totally stuck in my head. Now I'll be singing that all day and thinking up evil plots.
The good news is that plotting is my downfall.
Speaking of plotting, shouldn't I be writing?

Eee-vil's bustin' out all over,
All over the forum and the threads.
And the life of evil smileys,
that is spoken of so highly,
Is living on in everybody's head!
Did I warn folks that I have a background in musical theater? And that I've done the show in question? You really don't want me to bust out with a bastardization of "Blow High, Blow Low" do you? What's that? You say you do?!?
Write fast, write slow,
A-writin' we will go.
We'll go rampaging,
Ten pages a day!
To plot we'll go,
Writin' high and low
For many and many
A long, long day!
All over the forum and the threads.

Re: Jibber Jabber - Q1 - 29
I'm getting out my stick... or should I begin singing???
Strangers in the tub
Exchanging glances
Wondering as they rub
What were the chances
They'd be sharing soap
Before the bath was through... etc.
For the youngsters, it's a takeoff of Strangers in the Night by Frank Sinatra (though Sinatra's before my time).
When I reread, I thought I might be getting myself in trouble!

Thank you, Kary! I was going to say that I was scared to write out some lyrics, because I'm so bad at them, but I was sure Kary could come up with something great. And you did it before I could even get back online!

The Gator has no need to write a little ditty for herself, Lewis Carroll already wrote one which does the job just fine:
How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
How cheerfully he seems to grin
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
With gently smiling jaws!

How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
How cheerfully he seems to grin
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
With gently smiling jaws!

Indeed! Although to my knowledge the Gator has never whiffled or burbled.
Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
'Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!'
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood a while in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One two! One two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
'And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
I've always loved this one, though I fear it ends badly for the Jabberwock.

True. That's one of the only parts of the poem that's actually perfectly clear. Though if it's any consolation, getting snicker-snacked by a vorpal blade sounds like a pretty awesome way to go.
