If this thread ever dies, I fear that it may collapse under its own gravity into a micro black hole.

wotf006 If we keep it going long enough, maybe we can open a wormhole into an alternate version of reality in which the contest publishes children's cookbooks written by San Diego dentists.

According to Yahoo, "Dark Matter 'slingshot' could send lethal asteroids crashing into Earth".

If we keep it going long enough: Maybe we can weave a net out of it to save Earth. wotf007

Ah, but which Earth? There be the problem, mateys, Oh Arr!

Please excuse Long John. He's never been allowed to post before so he's trying to be both Devonian and controversially multiversian at the same time. An unstable combination, I always say.

Oh, dear. The forum seems to have spawned another alter ego. I'll see about adding rum and plum duff to our stores.

Then again, we've got a gator and a pirate, so now all we need is a flying ship and a cadre of lost boys.

Oh no, don't you go worryin' yer pretty little head about yon Al Terego, young Miss Kary. He wuz a topman with Flint if I remember rightly, back in the days when they wuz cruisin' the Andaman Islands. Flint caught him with loaded dice, which nob'dy was supposed to have apart from Flint hisself, see, and he made the swab walk the plank. So yon Al, he be down among the dead men at the bottom of the sea and not likely to bother nob'dy no more. Oh arr!

Whereas me, I don't have no computer on the Hispaniola, like, so I have to borrow from my old shipmate Ishmael whenever the cove is off looking for Wales, which he does with a big brass telescope from the crow's nest at the top of the house. You can't see Wales from there in course, but I never tells him, cos it would spoil the fun and I'd have to buy my own tablet, which I ain't never done, see, on account of me not bein' able to afford it on a ship's cooks wages. I have made tablet once or twice, bein' from Devon an' all, but that's another story.

Ya know, I was going to post in this thread, just to do my part to keep it going...

Then I thought: "Now, now... That's rude. There's a quarter in progress right now. People are paying attention there, some still waiting for results. No reason to draw attention here just because you're bored and the forum is quiet."

Then I thought: "Wait a minute! I am one of those waiting. Screw that!"

This is the thread that never ends.
It just goes on and on my friends.
Some people started posting here, not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue posting here forever just because

How neatly spreads his claws,
