Thank you to all of you who posted reviews--it's a massive help. The free samplers are still available, btw, if anyone would like one still.

And a general thank you to all of you for your awesome support in everything. May you all be posting in your own anthology thread one day wotf009

Received an email letting me know I'll get my copy on Monday.
They billed me right away but waited 4 days to ship, go figure.

I always pre-order a hard copy from my local indie bookstore, because the owner is a big sf fan and sponsors many events for sf writers.

I'm about 1/2 through the volume.

Matt, I love your story! No wonder it won top prize.

Kate, I love your story too! Some of the stories I best remember from past anthologies (yes, I own and have read them all) were the published finalists.

So… onward. And I love the formatting changes they've made to the book itself, l like adding the color illustrations.

Finally got to read the rest of your story, Squalor and Sympathy Matt, nicely done indeed.

On the off-chance any of y'all are in the Reno NV area, volume 32 winner Christoph Weber and I have a signing at the Reno B&N on Saturday May 21st, and we'd love to have other writers show up!

I believe some of the other authors are also having signings that weekend - I know several authors live in Seattle, some in Atlanta, so maybe look around and see if anyone's going to be in your area?

Bought volumes 31 and 32. Got them in the mail today. I look forward to reading them (probably reading 32 first, all things considered)! wotf009

I'm about 3/4s of the way through Vol. 32. Always impressed by the spectrum of stories that each volume has. Great stuff in this volume.

I got two stories into the V31 anthology before switching to the V32, and I just finished K.D. Julicher's story "Swords Like Lightning, Hooves Like Thunder." You guys! What a great story! If you haven't gotten to that one yet, it's awesome! Just the kind of fantasy story I love to read!

I can't wait to read the rest of the anthology this weekend!

I finished reading the anthology yesterday. Started with S&S and finished with David's story.
Very entertaining from start to finish.
I gave a review on amazon that reflects my thoughts on the volume.

I finished yesterday too. Very good stories all around. We should set up a topic for a book club style discussion of the stories. Maybe even some of the authors might participate. Any objections? Suggestions for ground rules?

I'd be happy to participate! I think you'd want to start another thread with a title warning that there could be spoilers, and then just go through discussing the stories.

Here's a fun thing: I met Mark Lefebvre of Kobo, who was the guest speaker for V30's gala, at the London Book Fair, and he invited me to write a blog post about the week that was.

Being me, I went massively over my intended word count (I am terrible with non-fic word limits) and it's had to be split into two parts. Part one went up today, covering my journey to WotF up to the 24 hour story challenge, and part two will follow tomorrow!

The photos, it should be said, are all from the Author Services photographers who are following you everywhere. They certainly know their stuff--there's some fantastic photos in there, and I usually hate my face. And they just give us the photos to use as we see fit :)

(backstage selfie with Adrian excepted, of course. That's my phone. And I love that photo most of all.)

Hi all!

We're currently #3 in the Barnes and Noble website's sci-fi section, but we only have one review there.

If you've read the anthology, could you hop on over and review it there? Sorry for the double-ask--I know a bunch of you have already reviewed it on Amazon.
