No twitching, here. I've gone numb. wotf019 Also, I have a fresh story idea. That tends to help.

The best cure for all writing related ailments always seems to be “writing.”

Twitching? Write the next one ;)

You know... I didn't have the twitches so badly until I joined this forum. I'm pretty sure I've lost a few pounds from twitching.

I'm twitching, but not for Q1 results. I went WAY overboard last night on last-minute redlining for my Q2 entry and now I'm thinking I might have to pull an all-nighter because this entry WILL get submitted tomorrow ahead of Saturday's deadline! Good thing I have tomorrow off from work.

This is by far my favorite story yet and I'm excited for Dave to read it.

Got an email from Galaxy Press. SuperTwitch moment, followed by reading it and seeing it was letting me know my Q2 entry had been recieved.

Well played...

Not to make anyone twitchy, but according to The Grinder, average response time from WOTF is 94 days and my Q1 story is now at 93 days. lol

We won't see anything this week. Workshop/Gala week. Probably not next week either since they'll be in recovery mode! So get a cool glass of lemonade, kick back, and start planning your Q3 entry!

Half a scene left to write on my rough draft. Willing to bet I'll have to rewrite the ending, if not a grand majority of the story, but you need a foundation to build from, right?

Working on a fresh story is definitely one of the better ways to avoid twitching.

Agreed. I’m being ambitious with my Q3 and am almost done with a first draft. I expect there to be many more! I’m not expecting results this week all with the gala. Which is good since I’m moving!

Apparently there was a glitch with the submission software that made him unable to read for a bit so Dave got a little behind. He said he hopes to be through reading the whole pile next week, but he isn’t sure that he will. So, into the bunker friends, should be a week or two more for pass #1*

I think the timeline might move up. We’re hanging out in the lobby before going to the airport and “the 1st and 2nd passes are done.”

So... uh... not sure if this is good or bad for you all?

Nerves....
I guess there’s no way to tell when the notifications will be sent out based on that though, is there?

It's a thing, and I accept it. I'm expecting an R until proven otherwise. wotf019

No concrete method, but odds are good we'll start seeing them within the next week or two.

Cool. Also anticipating an R until proven wrong.

I missed my goal of 4 in 35 already. Selling, buying, building a house then moving killed me. Missed 2nd quarter but am on track for a 3rd quarter rally!

Remember that Joni is the one sending out the notifications, and she'll be recovering from the gala. So it might be a week or two; on the other hand, it could be Thursday...

Surely once Dave has recorded the result on the electronic copies, it is simply a matter for Joni to press a button? I feel for her if she has to manually go through and add them to the "R" email list.

Yeah, I had that happen a week or so ago. wotf019 Gave me a moment's pause, because I was all, "Q1 hasn't been judged yet, what... OH..."
