3 down. 1 to go! Let's see what kind of shape I can whip this new story idea into.

I’m in to Q3! I mean, I’m REALLY into it! wotf001 My Q4 is mentally plotted, I’ll start writing it in early July. I’m still open to last minute swaps if anyone needs eyes. Best of luck taming your muse!

I'm torn.

First, I wrote this comedic sci-fi piece and was going to submit it, but it needs a bit more work than I want to spend on it right now.

Next, I have a flash fiction piece some folks were nice enough to critique for me, but, in a fit of over-confidence in editorial timelines, I submitted it to Flash Fiction Online because "oh, they're average gives me two days wiggle room"... wotf027

Then I started writing a fantasy story that's going well, and I should finish before the end of the month, but it'll only leave me time for a single edit and probably no critiques.

I always thought options were a good thing, but none of these are very good right now... blargh.

In all my submissions, only twice did I write the story last minute and have no reader feedback. One of those was my Finalist.

So... this isn't to say "Fire your writing group." Just, if FFO doesn't get back to you in time, then send the fantasy story.

I think I’m probably going to take that advice. Thanks!
