My wife and I will be going to the Gala. We just drove through Topanga Canyon to see the ocean today, and it made me think of you Preston :) I hope the workshop is going great!

Thanks, Thomas & all.
Man & man, what a week! So fun & amazing on so many levels. The art reveal was cahrazy! And yes, that's a word! Getting to see & hold and sign the actual book was even cahrazier! Got fitted for my tuxedo. That's definitely a first. Lots of firsts this week. The whole thing is so much more than I ever imagined, and the gala event hasn't even occurred yet. I can't believe it's tomorrow. Gotta prepare my speech. We were told to make it about 1 minute and 45 seconds. No prob! I've been working on my acceptance speech for years! Sooo cool.
Gotta go. We're about to preview the venue for the Gala. Not sure if I'm gonna get much sleep tonight. So if I have bags under my eyes, you know why!

That's it for now, guys! Will check in later if I have time.

I know I don't need to say, "Have a great time, Wulfy and Preston!" Because you have been alllllll week. Can't wait to hear all the juicy details when you get fully back to us.

Oh, and I'll be watching tonight with the rest of the forumites, dram-in-hand!

I'm cheering, Wulf and Preston! Can't watch live - we're going camping - so I'll pull up the vod on Sunday and catch you then!

Weird thing is, the clock just counted down to zero and the Gala hasn't started. Reading the banner it stated 7:30 pm PST. Grrrrr. 10:30 here EDT

The countdown fooled me into thinking I'd watch it live in the UK. Ah, never mind.

Well done, Preston, Wulf and everyone. Great speeches, you two.

Woot Woot. Finished watching this morning. (couldn't quite make it all the way through last night on EST).

Congrats Preston and Wulf. Best speeches of the night. Can't wait to read the stories and see the illustrations in print.
