There's still time yet. Don't lose heart. Joni has to match up various placements with anonymous submissions, so it takes time. Plus, it seems like she prefers to get everything sorted and send it all out at once these days. (Makes sense.)

I always hope to place but expect an R. (Although sometimes I'm actually expecting an HM and get an R. Those are rough, but in every case it's been well earned. Most of those were due to poor beginnings, which I never seemed to notice until later. This year, at least, I can blame sleep deprivation.)

Can't remember. How much time passes between the calls and the Rs/HMs/SHMs coming out?

It looks like Moon got his "you're a finalist" call on November 13th last year, which was the same day some people were reporting getting emails in the v35 Q4 thread. So it does sound like there's hope yet for those who haven't been called :)

There’s been no calls or results yet as far I’ve seen. So there’s still hope for everyone.

Well, they did say early-December so we should have at least another week before any calls then?

I'm surprisingly zen, today... at least, for the moment.

Can I borrow some of your zen? My body seems to think it has more twitches than it can possibly get out before the end of this week. Maybe it's all those pillow fort brownies...

Balzac fueled himself on large amounts of coffee as he wrote. He was very prolific. So much coffee though eventually killed him.

What if you mellow the coffee with spiked eggnog?
That would help with twitching, right?
Although it does not seem to be increasing the word count.

Aside from my medical condition, I'm not twitching at all and feel like I'm missing out.

Not sure 'missing out' is the right phrase. Twitching is stressful. wotf019
