Where did you see this? I don't see it on his personal page. Just wondering if I'm not following something I should be. :)

I looked back over my Q3 response data, and I thought it was weird that in 10 years of electronic submissions, I've only ever gotten results in October once (2 in August (!), 5 in September, and 2 in November). I hope this year adds to that October count!

Hi Beth. I'm new to the forums and curious if the response data you mentioned is something I'm also supposed to be keeping track of for myself? Or is it that you mean you've heard back about your submission already? I haven't, and now I'm wondering if that means I didn't make it very far in the contest this time.

SHM, which makes three in a row now.
For there is death in the sound of it, and a glamorous fatality, like silver pennons downrushing at sunset, or a dying fall of horns along the road to Ronceveaux.

The only easy day was yesterday.

I got a rejection :( It was a rewrite of my previous story that got an HM, but it was also before I joined the forum. Have since realized I did everything wrong with the rewrite so I expected a rejection but was mildly optimistic it would at least place.

Congratulations to all those who placed and any getting phone calls!

Sorte,

Few years back I couldn't get Dave to read anything I sent in. Had 4 in a row (and for me, I sub like 2x a year, so it was a long drought).

Another rejection, but no wonder about it. I just finished the online workshop, and I understood how many mistakes I've made. Having a nice story idea in the head without transmitting it to the reader worths nothing.
