Well the story I was thinking of submitting for Q4 has just been accepted for publication in a time travel anthology. Obviously I’m pleased, but I’m now wondering if I should have submitted it to WotF instead!

No point in wondering that (although I've done the same thing myself in the past, I will admit). What works for one market doesn't necessarily work for others. Half the stories I've sold are edits of stories that got an R or an HM at WotF. The only thing you know for sure and certain is--you sold a story! And that's awesome! wotf010 wotf010 wotf010 wotf010 wotf010

My Q4 entry entered my realm of awareness today. The story resides in my thoughts waiting to be shared with the known world. It has a character, with a problem, in context that is rather extreme. I just have to find my MC's heart's desire and it will be easy-peasy from there on.

Looking for 1 or 2 Alpha readers. Grammar should be good, commas, are all over the place, but does the story work? 4400 words. I can return an under 10k swap after Aug 5th. wotf009

I'm down. send me a pm.

My Q4 is still running the gauntlet as it makes the rounds through my critique group, so I'm hoping to have it back soon to post in the critique threads for feedback.
