Mail not leaving Outbox

Postby TimE » Mon Dec 09, 2019 11:56 pm

I offered to critique for someone but haven't heard from them, I sent my email address and checked after a few days - it was still in my Outbox and not in Sent mail.
I tried again and now have 2 in my Outbox.
I presume the guy I offered to crit is having the same problem.
Some HMs More Rs - I keep thinking I'm getting closer, but perhaps not.

Just wondering if his box is full? When you hit 100, it stacks them up outside, and you have to clear out old mail to make room for new incoming.

So the problem could be his end and not mine. It's not a problem I've had before, so yes, I can see that's a possibility.
thanks

Just for the record, during my time on the forum I've noticed that a message I've sent to someone usually stays in my Outbox until the recipient reads it, at which point it shows up in Sent Mail instead. It's possible, as Wulf said, that the person you offered to trade crits with yet has a full inbox, but it's also possible s/he simply hasn't checked their PMs.

Ah - didn't know that. Thanks. He'll have my mail twice now!

Only if he cleans out a couple spaces in his inbox. :)

As programmers who worked for me would say - it's a feature. Actually, now I understand it, this is a decent feature telling me whether something's been read.

Thank You!
I thought I was having trouble with my Outbox AGAIN!
I was just unaware of this handy 'feature'.
