Daniel Jose Older course on story--free this week

Postby MattDovey » Thu Jun 16, 2016 11:57 am

Some things you need to know:

1) Daniel Jose Older is awesome. Seriously.

2) There's a 45 minute course from him free on SkillSpace for this week only: http://skl.sh/djolder (need to sign up for free, takes about 30 seconds to do so)

3) He's covering the 4 Cs--character, conflict, context and craft. These are the absolute essentials.

4) You have no excuse. GO GO GO GO

Okay, just finished this, and I gotta say that is as good as anything we got in the WotF workshop back in April.

Also not dissimilar to the way a lot of WotF is delivered, actually--guest lecturer talking fast for an hour to squeeze as much as they can in. Go watch and pretend. It's fun and instructive!

Thanks for the share, Matt! I just watched this and it was really great.

I'm going to have to do a search for "to be" during edits now, just in case.
