NaNoWriMo Anyone?

Postby JVAshley » Wed Oct 30, 2019 8:03 am

Does anyone want to use NaNoWriMo to blast through a few short stories so you have a plethora to choose from come December?

Or does anyone want to tear through a Zero-th draft of a novel in November so you can reward yourself by doing a nice short story in December?

If you are in, let me know. I enjoy the company.

I do NaNo every year to motivate me to finish my novels. I'd be happy to keep each other accountable.

YEAH! I use it to finish, to edit, or to begin a novel, depending on the phase of me WIP. It helps give a writing boost, and my family and friends have come to expect that that is what I do in November which helps when trying to avoid people and get writing done.

What is your handle on the NaNo website? They remodeled the site and I lost my "buddies" list. Mine is "Dreamarc".

I have done nanowrimo at least twice and I like both of the novels that came from the effort.

Have fun! That's a meaty writing goal! Love how you've trained the family to know November is your writing month, Julia! Don't forget to put this sign on your office door: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!

RSchibler & storysinger, I believe I found both of you on https://www.nanowrimo.org wotf010

I just returned from World Fantasy Con. (Where I met Kary English, John Goodwin of Author Services, and Tim Powers!) Exciting! But I go into this week with a word deficit AND I still have 10K on edits to my WIP.

I’m behind too but I have high count days and lower count days - I’ll get it done. And this silly book, too.
