Pre-Digital Techniques?

Postby Williamhawk » Tue Sep 19, 2017 12:09 am

Hi ---
I'm new to WC, hopefully 'Illustration' is the best place to post this question (as opposed to, say, 'Art History'):
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any online forums dedicated discussing pre-digital mid-century illustration/graphic design techniques? Ideally where one could ask really specific questions about a piece.
Almost EVERYthing I look up online leads me to digital/Photoshop/Illustrator solutions. So frustrating (and disheartening).
I'm a member of the 'Today's Inspiration' FB group, which is a fantastic resource for vintage illustration, but I don't really want to clog up every post with a million technical questions.
If anyone has any pointers/suggestions, they would be much appreciated! Or perhaps I could start a thread here...?

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
