Or maybe that's just what they want us to think? wotf021

Out of curiosity, when are they going to announce their submission call for Jan/Feb? I keep looking but all I'm seeing are the calls that ended Oct 1. Thanks for any information. (PS: If I'm missing it because I lack the ability to read the links on the side somewhere, I will happily accept something pointing out the obvious at this point.)

I haven't found this yet either. They've gone quiet haven't they?

Eek! I sure hope not. I had some really good ideas that I wanted to work up for them. I even pointed a few of my friends in a writers group towards them for possible sale of short fiction. They seem to have a really good selection and decent eye to what is good.

It seems that the whole Penumbra magazine has been abducted by aliens.

It proved to be a bad choice for a theme. wotf013

Aliens have landed. And on a related note, I was kicked off the spaceship.

My rejection has arrived. I'm afraid my story was too alien for their tastes. wotf002

Sadly, closure has been announced http://penumbra.musapublishing.com/

No more submissions and the final issue for the magazine will be released in December 2014.

Sad, though not unexpected given the silence on announcing the next lot of calls.

Darn! It was a fine magazine. I had high hopes of being published there. Alas!
