The Sea Change of Self-Publishing by Barbara O'Neil

Postby ThomasKCarpenter » Thu Jul 25, 2013 9:33 am

I've seen a number of reports from a number of sources about the changes at RWA conferance, including the absolute shock at 140 unfilled pitch meetings with agents and editors. It is my understanding that writers used to fight over those slots and now not enough people care to fill them. I, for one, am not surprised.

Here's Barbara O'Neils report on the conference:

Hey, Tom. wotf006

I think that is AWESOME. And shocking. But I feel somehow vindicated thinking that all those smug agents and publishers are now scrambling for attention.

In fact, that just made my day. wotf008
