I was going to work on one flash story and upgrade it a bit while making it longer-good thing I double checked the date before I worked on the story.

Wished I had 12 out. I got out of the habit of sending out stories and it's been way hard trying to remember to do that. I just do it now and again but I should be sending them out every week.

The same thing almost happened with Urban Fantasy magazine. I sent in one a couple of weeks later while on ralan.com checking out something else I noticed they were closed. Yikes-does that mean my story is not being looked at? I found the E-mail noticing saying they got it which is dated the day before they closed down for rejections. Whew.

Actually, four of my things out are screenplays entered in competitions. Three in the Nicholl, including one sf. The sf one just got entered in the ScreenCraft science fiction script contest too. The waits for screenwriting competitions are brutal, so I try (fruitlessly pretty much) to forget about them for months.

I did get a sf story sent through Lightspeed's currently open window at, like, 2 a.m. Expecting to hear back any second now.

Late in getting back to this. But even though by accident thanks for telling me Lightspeed was open.

It's one of those I have been forgetting to check. I sent in one today.
