AT the request of the editors, I post this here for your consideration:
Mysterion is an anthology of Christian speculative fiction being assembled by the husband and wife team of Donald S. Crankshaw and Kristin Janz. We pay pro rates for quality speculative fiction with Christian characters, themes, or cosmology. Join us as we rediscover the mysteries of the faith.

P.S. I shall submit to them as well, since I have a tale recalled by my "object prompt" from the WOTF mini-workshop weekend this past August that may be appropriate. But a story co-mingling Christian folklore written by an old(er) Jew? Don't know if they'll consider it kosher. ;)

Re: Mysterion
Well so far they've given me a 5 day form on my silver HM (which features a vicar as supporting cast) and a 17 day personal (from the reader) on a story written specifically for them in which the protagonist is a clergyman. In both cases the problem seems to have been doesn't fit.
So. Happy though I am to try again, I clearly fail to grasp what's required.
It ain't easy, friends.

Re: Mysterion
I had a story I was going to submit, but damn if it didn't get accepted elsewhere before they opened for submissions. I have another story that has a strong Quaker theme in it, maybe I'll try that when it comes back from Strange Horizons.

Re: Mysterion
A bit late to this party but I happen to have about three, maybe four stories, with angels. One deals with Christmas.
I may check to see if any others might work too.
Dr. Bob not sure how serious you were with that last question, but if your stories are based on the Torah or later books of what Christians call the Old Testament that would probably work.
