Re: Tor.com is Looking for Fantasy Novellas......
This pinged my interest when you first posted the link, and my brain has been quietly plugging along at culture ideas ever since. I don't have a plot yet, but culture is the necessary framework for character concepts (which I'm working toward having). Plot tends to evolve from characters for me, so I think I'm on my way toward having something writable. Basically, I'm excited and appreciative with you for sharing this, J'nae. Thanks for the link!

I'm totally not going to have my novella finished in time to submit it here, but I'm not going to give up on it either. I'm going to finish it first and worry about potential publication after.

Well, I do have one that could be considered fantasy and it is none European, not sure if it is long enough though.
Any others? Hmm, not off hand.
Definitely not long enough even though not short. If I worked on just that might be able to do a new one but too many other things I want to get done. They are tough.

Working on turning Lead into Gold.
