Last December Stewart initiated this thread after enjoying a good year. I thought this time, (though I didn't win WotF,) I'd take the weighty responsibility upon myself!

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
I, too, had a really great year - better than last year's! (As long as the last original story makes its appearance later this month.)
In 2015 I had 11 acceptances & pubbed 10 stories (9 originals, 1 reprint).
For 2016, I've had 15 acceptances & pubbed 13 (10 originals, 3 reprints).
2016 Publications:
Sober Kevin is a Bitch, Triptych Tales
Last Sunset for the World-Weary, Writers of the Future antho
First of Frost, Lackington's
When an Angel Molts, Triangulation: Beneath the Surface antho
Suggestive Thoughts, Flame Tree's Crime & Mystery antho
Too Poor to Sin, Mysterion antho
Art's Chair, Persistent Visions
Churchill's Black Dog, DarkFuse's Horror d'oeuvres
Grandma Was a Time Machine, ChappyFiction's Time Travel Tales antho
And We Shall Inherit the Sea, Helios Quarterly Magazine, Vol. 1, Issue 2 (forthcoming, fingers crossed)
And the Reprints:
A Mary Shelley Moment, QuickFic
Devil Got You on Speed Dial, Flash Fiction Online
The Abbott's Tussock, QuickFic
6 of this year's pubs went to themed calls; 5 to anthologies. So for 2017 I think themed anthos might be my target market.
It's nice to everyone's successes lined up like this. There was a couple I must have missed seeing posts about but now I get the chance to go read the ones I missed. Yay! Stories!
Cheers, all!

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
My year wasn't as impressive as all that, but still some publications to be proud of:
Ghosts in the Machine – 940 words, Nature, vol. 529: Jan. 7, 2016
Harold’s social security check is late again. Can he prove he’s still alive?
The Last Words of the Platonic Form Circle While Trying to Compute Its Own Diameter – 5 words, The Last Word Series – Infomancy.net: Mar. 14, 2016
Happy Pi Day!
The Starfarer’s Dilemma – 950 words, Scarlet Leaf Review, March 15, 2016
The solar system faces an existential threat and Ana-tol finds little comfort in the cold logic of game theory.
Final Thoughts – 1000 words, Mad Scientist Journal, Fall 2016
The chances were infinitesimal at first, but love proves inevitable at the end of the world.
Independence Day – 6000 words, Perihelion Science Fiction, Nov. 12 2016
Lexi’s parents give her a one day time machine for her birthday which didn’t seem as practical as the car she needed to hold down a summer internship, but proves invaluable when the Earth is threatened by an extinction-level comet.

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
I've 1 reprint and 3 new stories published this year, three novelettes and one short story (about 35,000 words in all). And the short story is a collaboration with the talented and gracious WOTF 1st place winner and 2015 Hugo nominee Ms Kary English (I was so thrilled to work with Kary).
Reprint:
And The Ends of the Earth For Thy Possession (novelette), July 2016, 2nd And Starlight (the annual anthology of stories by Finalists and Winners of WOTF) edited by Dustin Adams. This was my 1st Writers of the Future contest Finalist (Q1 2013) originally published in Giganotosaurus July 2015. See: http://giganotosaurus.org/2015/07/01/and-the-ends-of-the-earth-for-thy-possession/. On occasion, I am still getting nice comments for this story on Goodreads .
-- "In an alternate universe, anti-Semitism has resulted in the expulsion of Jews from the planet after a bloody religious war that destroyed most of the Jewish communities of Palestine. The survivors are being transported to a new planet, when a series of unexplained deaths among the crew bring to the surface old fears and prejudices. A deeply moving story of guilt, revenge, and the nature of the soul." https://bibliogramma.dreamwidth.org/170642.html
New:
Shattered Vessels (short story co-written with Ms Kary English), March-April 2016, Galaxy's Edge Magazine #19 -- "Shevirah's purpose as an assassin falters when he falls in love with an incarnation of Chesed (Kindness). English and Finegold's deftly woven kabbalist tale pits destiny against love through multiple reincarnations of the characters, spanning thousands of years. The narration brings these large themes down to a personal level so that readers will identify with the protagonist's plight despite the large time-span. Readers do not need to be familiar with the Kabbalah to enjoy this story." [Michelle Ristuccia, Tangent On-line]
If anyone wishes to read "Shattered Vessels" for this award nomination season, please contact me: rfinegold.rf@gmail.com
Of Thine Impenetrable Spirit (novelette), 31 August 2016, Mysterion: Rediscovering the Mysteries of the Christian Faith (anthology). This was my 2nd Writers of the Future contest Finalist story (Q1 2014).
-- "The son of a tech mogul specializing in transhumanism falls deathly ill, and his father is desperate to save him. Transhumanism is a good theme in any SF work, and the author makes the argument that the morality of a person cannot be transferred merely by creating a copy of the mind into a new body." [Ben Wheeler, Tangent On-Line]
If anyone wishes to read "Of Thine Impenetrable Spirit" for this award nomination season, please contact me: rfinegold.rf@gmail.com
Laila Tov (novelette), 18 October 2016, Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores.
-- "The small sward of earth and patchwork hut where the crippled tailor and his demon bride once lived was shunned for its evil, or so the villagers would claim; but whether it was for the evil that once dwelt there or the evil that was inflicted upon it none would say."
This story was added to the SFWA member 2016 Nebula recommended reading list for novelettes, which I thought was very kind. Editor Fran Eisemann has made it available to read for free. The illustrations and pictoral web design she provided in presenting the story are quite lovely (best appreciated on larger screen devices -- IPads, laptops, or desktops). Worth a look for this alone. I was very pleased with the result. See: http://cosmicrootsandeldritchshores.com/fiction-all/myths-legends-and-fairy-tales/laila-tov/

200 interviews, features, profiles, essays, editorials, and reviews in SF Signal, Amazing Stories, and File 770. Including interviews with Liu Cixin, Michael Swanwick, Anne Leckie, Tina Connolly, Jason Sanford, Kris Rusch, Dean Wesley Smith (man that guy cranks out the volume), Kevin Anderson (man that guy cranks out the volume), Jonathan Maberry (man that guy cranks out the volume), Mike Resnick (man that guy cranks out the volume), editors and publishers of Clarkesworld, Starship Sofa, Escape Pod, Amazing Stories, so many SWFA and HWA administrators and former administrators I lost count, and a fistful of awesome debut authors. Features on a horde of series and trilogy authors. Launched a series of guest editorials. Haven't given up on writing fiction.

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
This was an interesting exercise for me because I usually only pay attention to stats I have control over (mostly stories written and submitted, rather than those accepted or published), but it looks like I've had 4 stories published this year, which is the most I've had in one year:
"The Day the Future Invaded" in Daily Science Fiction
"Claimed by the Sea" in Deep Magic
"Running Into the Rain" in Aurealis
"A Small Kindness" in FrostFire Worlds
I have two more stories that have been accepted (one reprint, one new) with unclear publication dates, so I suppose they could still be published in 2016, but it seems unlikely at this point.
EDIT: As it turns out, one of them managed to come out before the end of the year--"Retirement" (reprint) in The Best of Both Worlds
In semi-related news, I recently successfully defended my dissertation, and I graduated from my PhD program last weekend! This is related to fiction writing successes because being done with grad school means (hopefully) having more time to write other things

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
I had one original pub this year. And one reprint.
But, hey, that's better than none, right?
Original:
'Watercress Soup' in Andromeda Spaceways, December 2016
Reprint:
'Reflections' in Year's Best YA Spec Fic 2015, August 2016

Re: Forum Members' Published Stories of 2016
Well, last year was a great year for my writing, with three published stories (these first two are my SHM stories from WOTF!!):

Ghosts To My Fingertips in the 2nd and Starlight Anthology (it's free to read on Amazon if you have KindleUnlimited)

I only had one, but it feels like more all by itself.

Thanks, Dustin. My trajectory seems to follow the feast or famine model. When something hits it's worth the wait, though.
