Very nicely told George. I am still trying to work out whether the setting is The Moon or Mars. Any hints?

Good Afternoon Forumites,

Here is a very Forum-worthy announcement.

Issue #1 of The Sockdolager quarterly is published and you can read the whole thing on line if you can stand the radiation, or purchase a copy from Amazon for a mere (insert international variable here.)

http://www.sockdolager.net/spring-2015/

Since Stewart and I are both in it, we can conclude that the new magazine's editors have excellent taste.

Also, I appear to have missed posting my latest publication here. A Taste of Cinnamon, sci-fi flash, is out in the March issue of Fireside Magazine.

From their publicity: ". . . we follow two young teens as they explore the boundaries of their starship, and of each other."

On the other hand one has sung baritone solo on stage in Trial By Jury, so maybe when we both get to the LA Show we can give them a duet!

Foooooooooor - I am a pirate king! And it is, it is a glorious thing to be a pirate king!

wotf006 Long John, I didn't know you sang opera.

Arr, Jim Lad. Oi can hit lower notes than any man in the world, oh arrrr!

Yes, quite. And thank you George. Long John and I will have to go and rehearse now. Remind me again which publisher it is that wants to hear from a lusty pirate ....

P.S. Just in case anyone doesn't know which of the authors listed in The Sockdolager Table of Contents hangs around with a one-legged pirate, The Man on The Church Street Omnibus is here.

Thanks! They're really nice -- but you don't need to be jealous. All you have to do is write to them, send them a story or a link to some published material, and if they like it they'll invite you to the contest wotf007

For those not following me on Facebook/Twitter. My unpublished romance novel, Good Girl's Guide to Talking Dirty was nominated for the Romance Writers of America Golden Heart. It's the biggest contest in Romance for unpublished manuscripts. I'm super stoked!!

I know this is not SF/F related news, but...oh well!
