Okay. Caught my breath.

Has the following been shared on the Forum yet?
A number of Forum colleagues made Tangent On-Line's 2016 recommended reading list:
Jennifer Campbell-Hicks, Auston Habershaw, Martin Shoemaker, Tina Gower, T R Napper, .... wotf008 http://www.tangentonline.com/news-mainmenu-158/3356-tangent-online-2016-recommended-reading-list

Also on the list are Kary English's and my short story Shattered Vessels [Galaxy's Edge #19].
My very sincere thanks to Kary and Mr. Resnick. :)

Um...I'm speechless again.
( Which is maybe why I write)

Respectfully,
Dr. Bob

Congratulations to all you guys. I do enjoy it when Forumites reap well-earned success.

Right now I can't sell a story for toffee, as we used to say back in the day, but I do have one nice result to share. Time's Winged Chariot made fifth equal in the steampunk section of Preditors and Editors Readers Poll 2016.

This is the first time I've had a story in any such ranking, so I'm very pleased. wotf013

The only review I've ever seen of this story didn't like it. Hey-ho!

Very very nice. This means two very important things. Your story had readers and they liked it. And at the end of the day that's why we do this.

I'm delighted to report that the anthology Unbound II, Changed Worlds includes my science fiction short story THE HARD STUFF. The anthology is available in print from bookshops or as an ebook.

This is a story about a female-dominated future where men are excluded from senior posts because of their tendency to aggressive behaviour. Our frustrated hero becomes an alcoholic. But what happens when his female superiors have no choice but to trust him?

The anthology includes ten other stories, including one by its editor, M J Moores.

The Hard Stuff is the first of my stories to make it into print in 2017. I've had a few tales knocking firmly on the door without quite getting in, so I hope the drought has now ended and this may be the start of a positive run.

Congrats Ishmael.

I have a new success (I think). SF2 Concatenation wants to include my Nature story "Ghosts in the Machine" in their "Best of" listing. No money associated but I see that the latest story they've included is Hugo nominated, so good company.

Looks like 2017 started strong with publication credits for a lot of you. Congrats, all!

I've finally joined the ranks of 2017 stories with 'A Century of Princes' at IGMS.

My first at this market. Also, it's the audio selection for Issue 55 and I rarely get audio'd so...kind of liking this February.

Looking forward to seeing a bunch more stories (and authors!) in this thread.
