And congratulations, Thomas. That's an intriguing title. I've managed to submit only a few times to Apex and Abyss; their submission window is so darn tiny!

Hey Aaron, there's a success for story in a day. Well done.
I'm afraid mine from that challenge is still out there being editorially challenged!

Me too. Well done George.
We all hope you are coping well with all the turmoil in Greece right now. When the real world is giving us such hefty knocks it's good to have a refuge, albeit a brief one, in the fictional worlds we create. My best wishes, for the little good they may do.

Re: Success!
Thanks, Thomas, Aaron, Bob and Philip!
Yes, it's the SFComet story, with minor modifications. I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks for the well wishes, Philip. Fortunately the situation in Greece is not nearly as bad as it looks from abroad. Most people's standard of living has deteriorated, but we're still much better off than, say, people in the Balkans or most Eastern European countries. Personally, I tend to think of it as having financial troubles; that's something that could happen to anybody, anywhere. It will wear off, eventually.
