Re: Success!
Congratulations Martin, very inspiring.
Just read the background for the story on your blog.
It appears to have been an enjoyable process from start to finish.

Gardner Dozois wants "Murder on the Aldrin Express" for Year's Best Science Fiction Vol. 31.
I'm stunned. I can't sleep. I keep going back to the email to make sure it's real.
Thank you all for the encouragement. It really made a difference!

Grats Martin! I love that story. You did a fantastic job with it. I'm not surprised it made it to the year's best.

My story "Invictus" will be in the Shattered Shields anthology, coming out through Baen, and edited by the awesome duo Jennifer Brozek and Bryan Thomas Schmidt.
In other words, I'm in an anthology with Elizabeth Moon and Glen Cook. Squeeeeeeee!

Congratulations, Stewart.
I too have good news: I just sold 2 more stories!
My seventh story (for children) was accepted by Cast of Wonders. Writing for kids was a new challenge, and not as easy as I thought it would be.
And I found out today that my eighth story was accepted by Perihelion. This was my first submission to them too, so this bodes well.

Conga-rats Annie, and Stewart!
And no, this isn't an excuse for more images of dancing rodents. Don't forget I share my abode with a crazy alligator and she's asleep right now, let sleeping gators lie and all that.

I'm joining Preston in having just had a story accepted by Perihelion. This will be my second story with them, and I'm very excited! Maybe we'll get to be TOC-mates, Preston!
