Re: Quarter 4, Writers and Illustrators of the Future vol. 3
I forgot I hadn't posted in this thread yet--got a form rejection on October 15. I guess they're trying to send out rejections as the stories are read this quarter instead of waiting til the end.

Commiserations for the r's.
I know it's no consolation but at least you made it to what is probably the last of those for the 4th quarter.

I got a "you cleared the first pass" email Nov 12, said finalists would be chosen soon...still waiting for results, though. Fingers crossed. Or obsessively refreshing email.

Well, that's just it - everyone who hasn't received a rejection seems to have received a "cleared first pass" e-mail but me - I haven't heard a peep since way back when I received my "thank you for your submission" e-mail. Lost story? I don't know. But I'm not too hopeful (just kidding - I'm ludicrously hopeful. Someone needs to smack me upside the head).
